About This Event
Following the tremendous success of our inaugural tournament where Casa Mazzola emerged as champions, we are thrilled to announce Season 2 of the GOALS Football Tournament!
This exciting 5-a-side football tournament brings together football enthusiasts from across Malta to compete in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere while supporting charitable causes. All proceeds go directly to our partner charities: Schools for Africa Malta Foundation and Puttinu Cares.
What to Expect: Join us for an action-packed day of football featuring 16 teams competing across 4 groups. The tournament follows a group stage format followed by knockout rounds, culminating in an exciting final match.
Tournament Format: - 16 teams divided into 4 groups of 4 teams - Round-robin group stage matches - Top 2 teams from each group advance to knockout rounds - Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and Final - 15-minute matches with 5-minute breaks between games

How to Register
Tournament Rules
- •The tournament consists of 4 groups with round-robin matches.
- •Top 2 teams from each group qualify for the knockout rounds.
- •5 players on the pitch at a time (plus 3 substitutes).
- •Rolling substitutions allowed at any time.
- •No slide tackles - standing tackles only.
- •Goalkeeper cannot pick up back-passes.
- •Fair play is paramount - respect referees and opponents.
- •Yellow and red card rules apply as per standard football.
