About This Event
Our annual 5-a-side football tournament brings together teams from across the community to compete and raise funds for our youth sports programs. All proceeds go directly to providing sports equipment and coaching for underprivileged children.

Casa Mazzola dominated the tournament, winning all their group stage matches and defeating Sigma FC 3-0 in the final. Their impressive performance throughout the tournament made them worthy champions.

Tournament Rules
- • The tournament is made up of 4 groups of 5 teams.
- • The top 2 teams from each group qualify for the knockout rounds.
- • 8 players allowed on the pitch per team at a time (excess players should remain outside the ground during the game to avoid overcrowding).
- • Flying substitutions – subs can be made at any time, no need to stop the game.
- • No pass backs to the keeper – once the keeper gets the ball from a pass back from their team-mate, they cannot pick it up.
- • All goal 'kicks' shall be throws and not kicks.
- • Kick-ins (not throw-ins) when the ball goes out of play.
- • No sliding tackles – we want to keep it safe for everyone.
- • Each game shall be 15 minutes long, with a 5-minute gap between matches.
- • In the knockout stages, if a game ends in a draw, it goes straight to penalties – no extra time.
- • Players can switch around during the game at any time.
- • There will be a longer gap between games during the knockout stage.
- • All players must wear appropriate footwear (no metal studs).
- • Teams should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match time.
